Dear friend, It feels good to be home again after a whirlwind 3.5 weeks on the road. I am brimming with gratitude for this journey and excitement for the near-future of UU climate justice mobilization. My travels began with an action-packed week in DC, followed by an incredible week in NYC for the Global Climate Strikes and UN Climate Summit side-events. Our UUA President, Rev. Susan Frederick-Gray, was in NYC for the climate strikes as well. Together we witnessed and worshiped (check out the Livestream!) with a few hundred UUs and 350K people of conscience across the city. Over 7 million people participated in the climate strike week of action worldwide! Read more about my East Coast journey HERE

As we come to understand the gravity of climate disruption, it's easy to become disheartened. How do maintain equanimity and compassion for ourselves and others while sustaining effective activism? In this interactive program, Rev. Fred Small will invite us into meditation, reflection, conversation, and song, fortifying our spirits and deepening our resolve in the struggle for climate justice.
