ACTIVATIONEarth Day & Climate Justice Month Activation UUMFE’s 2018 Earth Day / Climate Justice Month theme is Justice for #EachGeneration, in solidarity with an interfaith coalition and the 21 youth and young adult plaintiffs of Juliana v. USA. Take action: plan a worship service that engages youth or young adult leadership, explore the concept of intergenerational equity, and organize multigenerational arts, advocacy, ritual, education, and celebration this April. USA, suing the U.S. government over climate change. His mother, Melanie Oommen, is a pastor at First Congregational United Church of Christ in Eugene, OR. On a webinar on February 28 at 8pm EST / 5pm PST, they will share their stories, experiences, and insights. A brief legal update will also be given by Coreal Riday-White of Our Children's Trust.
